A few weeks ago I got to go to Sharp Top for camp. I went with a girl from our Capernaum club. She is very high functioning and loved being at camp with her typical high school peers. It was a great and challenging week for me. We were in a cabin with other high school girls from different schools in Nashville. I have struggled with being insecure and worrying about what others think of me. High schooler's are no exception. I have always been terrified of them. Capernaum is different they accept you as you are, even think that you are the coolest person they have ever met. Typical high school kids are a little tougher. Being at camp with typical high school girls was a great stretch for me. I actually loved being with them. I loved having conversations about the club talks and hearing about what is going on in their lives. I am excited about the relationships that were started and that will continue with these amazing girls!
